Cusco Cooking Lessons
This is an opportunity to learn to cook exotic, delicious and healthy dishes with Red Quinoa, Corn, Yellow Aji and other ingredients that are a distinct part of our culture and heritage, but are still easy to find anywhere in the world. Our sophisticated, but easy to prepare dishes will let you experience our rich Peruvian flavors whilst providing you with the expertise to demonstrate your new cooking skills back home featuring two of our most beloved dishes plus our famous pisco sour drink with your own recipes to take home.
The gastronomical tour last about 3 hours and begins at 11:00am or 16:00pm. First our guide and chef takes us to the central market called the San Pedro Market to experience what we Peruvians use to cook our meals. After a tour around the market we will be visiting our caseras, or vendors, they will help us to select the best products and also make a nice deal.
After cleaning the ingredients, We will learn to cut them and cook them. We will also learn how to make Pisco Sour, the national drink of Peru based on Pisco a liquor made with grapes. This sour cocktail contains lemon, white egg, and sugar as well.
